We are located at 464 Blackhawk Lane in Tollesboro,
Kentucky. We are a 5 year C.W.D. : T.B. accredited Herd
and Certified Brucellosis Herd 2008. We are located 9
miles from Maysville, Kentucky and 70 miles from
Cincinnati, Ohio. The Whitetail Deer Farm is owned and
operated by Bud Marler with his wife Vickie and son
Jake.
Blackhawk Deer Farm was inspired by a lifelong interest
in Whitetail deer. Bud has been hunting in Kentucky
since he was 8 and has hunted in most of the states. Hunting was just something that became second nature to
Bud and that led him to get into the whitetail deer
business. The Marler's visited over 20 deer farms in
Ohio Kentucky and Indiana to see what was needed to have
an outstanding deer farm for Kentucky. We believe that
our operation is second to none. We have a barn,
handling facility, fawn cages, half a dozen fence areas,
2 to 5 acres runways, automatic water for the deer,
shade areas for the deer, special feed and hay areas. We
walk the fields at least three times a day to check and
double check on all our deer. We have all genetics from
200 plus bucks; a few of them are:
Blue 27, Toxic, Stardust, Deuce, Festus, Blackjack
